HELP!!!!!!  WEBSITE PROBLEMS

Anyone with expertise in website publishing please help.  I have tried for almost two weeks to post to website.  Hosting thru godaddy but my front page will not publish. Have published thru them for years but something has happened.  I have been on phone with them for a week every day.  They are having me publish to my computer, to file zilla, to godaddy.  According to them I will have to uninstall and install front page extensions everytime I publish.  I try to publish everyday during white bass season.  This crap takes over an hour and I don't have time.  Anybody have any help.  Almost to point of having someone build a new website with more modern program.  I built this one and was so proud of it but it is driving me crazy.  I need to be fishing.  Thanks.

WHAT A WAY TO START 2011

Some of the pictures from 2010 are at the bottom of this page.

Leroy and Rodney Padon  50 whites

Audra and Jake Livingston   2 limits  Average 2 lbs         Tanner and Tucker Williams  Christmas Eve

Brad and Dennis from Kansas

Caught over 200 fish Saturday.  Only 17 over 1 1/2 lbs.  Most 10 inches or 11.   As long as the river level stays workable for my honey hole, I am willing to take clients for some early white bass fishing.  If we get rains (please Lord let that happen) then my honey hole is gone for a while.  No promises but we had lots of action, lots of fish, just not the great big ones yet.  Fish big enough to keep limits but we were just fishing for fun Saturday, released all of them, even the ones in the picture.   If you just want a fun day with a tug on the end of your line and can come on short notice, give me a call  903-693-4441  cell 903-407-0130.

White bass season is just around the corner.  Went out yesterday just doing some scouting to see if maybe there were a few already finding their way up river.  Sure enough we got into a bunch of smaller ones.  The small ones always come up early before the big ones decide to move up.  Caught over 100.  About 20 over 11 inches.  Caught and released.  Most on roadrunners but think they would have hit anything.  They were chasing minnows in the shallow water.  Shallow water everywhere right now.  There are places we can't even go with our airboat because of the draw down on Toledo to do dam repairs.  All of that is fixed we just need some rain.  If you don't have your trip planned or booked, give us a call.  903-693-4441  or  903-407-0130.

Prices for 2011:  2 people fishing  $325.00   3rd person  $75.00

Package:  2 people  $375.00    3rd person $100.00    includes lodging, breakfast, sack lunch, cleaning fish, guided trip

Will start posting pictures probably in late November.  Got to get my deer before I can get serious about white bass.  Good luck to all of you hunters.

This is Andy, one of our guides.

November 28, 2010  Caught and released over 100.  Kept the biggest for picture then released.  Most over 10 inches

but a few over 2lbs.  Fished about 4 hours.  They are beginning to move up but water is really low.  Time to book your trip for Feb or March.

Happy holidays from Tom and Jane

WHITE BASS SEASON 2010

We end our guide season with white bass still biting and our guides catching limits of white bass.  It was a hard year because of the cold water temp but we fished hard and caught fish.  They finally turned on late this year but it was a great season.  We are already booking for next year and look forward to fishing with you.  Hopefully they will cooperate in 2011 along with the weather and we will be catching limits late January and early Februaly.    Thanks for making it a great season.

J. J. Caceria Dove Hunting

This is one afternoon hunt.

We will be organizing several trips in the near future.  (June 8 thru 16, 2010)  We can accompany your group or you can go on your own.  We can help you with your flight, paper work, customs, immigration, security, flight connections, reservations for your hunt, etc.  We don't charge you for our services.  Check out JJ Caceria website www.jjcaceria.com.ar or email him at jjcaceria@jjcaceria.com.ar .  The prices for the hunts are there.  You pay the same whether you use our services or not.   We will be going back to hunt ducks and dove June 8 thru June 16, 2010 if you would like to join our group just let us know.   We arrived late on our first day due to airline delays, we went straight to the fields where we were greeted by our bird boys and two other people there to take care of us.  After a great shoot we were taken to the lodge where we had excellent accommodations.  Our bedrooms were furnished with two 3/4 beds and a bathroom with shower.  The lodge is equipped with an open bar, or you can have cola, water, etc.  A full time chef takes care of your meals.  You are served on tables with fine china, crystal, and silver.  Appetizers are provided while your meal is being prepared.  The hunting is superb.  You will kill more birds in a day than you will kill in your lifetime in the US.  There are no limits.  The guns are excellent Beretta 391  20 gauge.  The ammunition is very good, I only had one misfire in 4 days.  WE are going back, come go with us.

Sabine White Bass fishing show with Alan Warren aired recently.  Check out his website at www.ChevySportsman.com

If you are fishing with Jane, bring your rod & reel spooled with 8 to 10 lb test line.  Road runners in chartreuse, chartreuse with red head, and white with red head.   Any configuration works, crappie thunder, curly tail, maribou, bubble belly, etc.   I use 1/4 oz unless I am fishing really light tackle, then I use 1/8 oz.   Bring rain gear just in case also waterproof footwear.  When cold is predicted, dress warmly.  Bring layers it may be 30 in the morning and 70 by lunch.   Most of the time we will take a boat ride a few miles.  Gets pretty cold on the water.

 FISHING IS GREAT

Our GOAL

River Ridge wants to provide you with a place that you will be proud to bring your family and friends.   The best fishing in East Texas.    Many years ago rivers got a bad rap because of the dumping of waste by big companies.   Times have changed and we are proud to be located on the Sabine River where the water runs clean and the fish taste great.  We hope you will check us out and maybe enjoy some of our paradise.  Looking forward to seeing you soon.  We are located about 45 minutes from the casions in Shreveport, La and Bossier City, La.  After you catch your fish you might want to try your luck and eat a nice meal.

SABINE RIVER is  the upper part of Toledo Bend Reservoir in East Texas.  It is located 12 miles south of Carthage, Texas on Hwy 699 which is about 40 miles south of Longview, Texas and 60 miles west of Shreveport, La.  Several species of bass , crappie, channel, blue and flathead catfish are all in abundance.  Sabine River is ideal for year round fishing.  River Ridge has been featured on "The Texas Angler" outdoor show for 3 years.  The 6 lb line class world record white bass was caught by Keith Warren ("The Texas Angler") here in 1996.  Also Ed Snyder, Editor of the Lakecaster Magazine caught the 2  lb line class world record white bass here.  It is common to catch white bass that weigh over 3 lbs.  Some weigh 4 lbs and better.   The Sabine River State record white crappie was caught here February 26,2000.

Check out our upcoming events, conditions of river, what fish are biting, and pictures of the big catch.  Also check out our camping facilities.

Catfish have been really biting good on trotlines and throw lines.  The river looks real good.  We keep the sand cleaned off our ramp as the water recedes after being up for a few days.  When the water is half banks we recommend using any kind of boat, but if it is at low level then we recommend using a jonboat.

.  You need to start making reservations now for sandbass season.  We have rv hook-ups, cabins, and tenting area.
